fCN Trade Mission Washington DC & New York

All fCN trade missions bring you to exceptional places where you can do excellent business and listen to interesting speakers. On Wednesday, Bill Huizinga, member of Congress Michigan, explained all about ongoing business opportunities and politics going hand in hand. We had the pleasure to lunch at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington. Both Heleen Bakker deputy chief of mission of the Kingdom of the Netherlands of the USA and Wampie Libon, head of Economic affairs attended the lunch and held great speeches and break out session with Q&A. After a private visit in the Capitol Building, we headed to NY by train.

In New York, we visited the United Nations. Impressive and fantastic tour and speakers both at the UN building and at the Embassy of the kingdom of the Netherlands. During lunch Michiel Vos was our speaker and explained more about the economic climate, Trump running for the next four years again and explained the work of his mother in law, Nancy Pelosi.

On Friday, we attended the Peter Stuyvesant Ball last night in the Plaza New York. Wonderful night by NAFbiz, KLM 100 years and a after party in the Heineken club!

We finished our 6-day trade mission in Brooklyn with an amazing food tour and stay at the William Vale Hotel with the most impressive view of New York’s skyline.
