fCN & CN Innovation Event

The Johan Cruijff ArenA is the international frontrunner in sustainability and one of the most innovative stadiums in the world!

With its digital solutions for mobility, safety, inclusiveness and sustainability, this stadium is the driving force behind the area development of Amsterdam Southeast. It also contributes to the development of smart cities, such as Amsterdam. The Johan Cruijff ArenA and the stadium environment form a living lab!

On Thursday March 24, 2022 we visited the Amsterdam Innovation Lab! We were welcomed by the new CEO, Tanja Dik, who told us more about the relationship between the ArenA and innovation. The Head of Event Operations of the Dutch Grand Prix, Rob Langenberg, also spoke about smart mobility during Formula 1 in Zandvoort.

Subsequently, the group was divided into various break-out rooms, where fCN & CN members discussed topics such as Donut Economy, Healthy Buildings and Smart Mobility. Of course we closed this event with a lovely network drink with a view over the beautiful field.
