We had the opportunity to take a look at the Lower House, the heart of our democracy in The Hague. Thanks to fCN member Bart Kellerhuis and Zecc Architects, we were warmly welcomed and given an interesting presentation and tour. We began our visit with a warm welcome and informative presentation at Nieuwspoort. Then we were taken to the former building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has been beautifully transformed by Zecc Architects into the new (temporary) accommodation of the Lower House. The result is truly perfect, with impressive architecture and attention to detail. Behind the scenes, we saw what it takes for the important work of our people’s representatives. From debates to important decisions and preparations, every space has been carefully designed. We would like to thank Bart Kellerhuis, Marjo Langbroek and Zecc Architects for the hospitality and inspiring presentation.
